My journey isn’t as involved as my husband’s, but after giving birth to Carly I had gained some weight that I wanted to lose. So Todd and I did Power 90 together to kind of kick start our weight loss and to help us get in shape as beginners. Afterwords, Todd moved on to P90X and I did Chalean Extreme, Turbo Jam and we both have done Insanity. We both got great results, and I was able to get back down to my weight before my pregnancy of 124lbs. That was pretty much my goal weight and I’ve been able to maintain that weight by using what we’ve learned through our connections with Beachbody and it’s phenomenal trainers and nutrition specialists.
After our success with the programs, I decided to become a Team Beachbody Coach with my husband Todd, and it’s been one of the greatest decisions of my life. We’ve met some really great people, like one of our coaches Jamie Morgan in Illinois. He was 325lbs and ordered Insanity. Now normally I wouldn’t have recommended that program to someone with that much weight to lose, but Jamie proved me wrong. He was assigned to me as a customer from Beachbody and our relationship grew over his transformation. He has shown me that I need not judge people’s capabilities, and rather focus on their inner strength and desire. He has showed me as a coach how to help people with motivation and support to help them reach their goals. He also has reminded me that if your will is strong enough, you can accomplish anything!
After we went to the Beachbody Coach Summit in 2010, I came home so fired up and excited to help people. It was truly an amazing experience. I feel very privileged to be a part of such a great company and to be coaching with my husband is an added bonus. The relationships I’ve gained with the people I’ve been able to help are invaluable. And I thank Beachbody for that.
If you’re reading this and are struggling with your health and fitness, we would love to help you. We take the opportunity seriously and look forward to getting to know you and help you reach your goals. Who knows, you might be the next Jamie Morgan.
